Evolution of Virat Kohli from rude and aggressive young man to one of the greatest ambassadors of the game

Virat Kohli the king of cricket is phenomenal players and is ahead of his counterparts by miles but one thing he is always criticized for is his on-field aggression and fury. One bunch cricket pundits have always used this aggression of Kohli to thrash him on social medias.

The middle finger incident in Australia: Virat on his first tour to Australia while playing on of the test matches at Sydney cricket ground showed his middle finger to fans who were booing him and using abusive words at him. This action of retaliation had made the world to think that Virat is arrogant.

But now the same Australians who booed and criticized him are very warmly welcoming the sportsmanship this man is showing on the field. The best example of this can be seen in one of the recently concluded world cup match between India and Australia. In first innings when Indians were batting, the Indian fans booed at Steve Smith and called him “cheater”. But Virat asked the fans to cheer him instead of booing him.

His on-field action moved smith who then went to Kohli and shook his hands for his gesture. Later in the press conference Virat said the smith had apologized for his mistakes and had gone through a lot and added that he should not be treated that way. This evolution of Virat has made Indians much more proud of him and even his captaincy is been excellent in this world cup. He is being continuously praised by likes of Sourav Ganguly and Laxman for his good decision as a captain.
